June 3, Track and Field Meet

June 3 is our track and field meet.  If the meet has to be canceled due to weather it will not be rescheduled.  So far on Monday we are expecting at high of 17, and is expected to be overcast with a slight chance of rain.   Even with cloud cover students can get sun burns when outside for the day.   Please ensure your chld is dressed appropriately for the weather, and ensure they are protected from the sun.

The first two buses to depart for the track meet will be leaving at 7:30am, and therefore students are expected to be at school for 7:15am.  There is a third bus departing the school at 8:15am, and this bus is specifically for students whose first events are for 9am or after.  There are only 40 seats on the third bus, so if your child misses the 7:30am bus, they may be able to take the later bus.....but only if there is room.

Please note that the buses get back to the school after our school day ends.  Parents have been asked to tell us how their children will get home, as their school bus home would have already departed.

Spring Band Concert

Our Spring band concert is set for Thursday, June 6 starting at 7pm.  Students are to arrive at 6pm, and parents and guests will be welcome in around 6:45pm.

Leaving School Grounds at Lunch

Dear families, just a quick reminder that grade 7 students are not permitted to leave the school property at lunch time.  Grade 7 students who leave the school property at lunch will receive an appropriate consequence.  Grade 8 and 9 students who leave school property are expected to be back on time.   Being late could result in losing the priviledge to go off campus.  We would prefer that all students stay on campus.
